A trader built on 37+ years of heat treatment know-how, serving Gujarat's industrial heartland from Rajkot since 2021.
Our Story
S. N. Enterprise was established in 2021 in Rajkot, Gujarat — but the experience behind it goes back much further. Our founder, Shri Nareshwar D. Patil, has spent more than 37 years in the heat treatment chemicals industry, building relationships with India's leading manufacturers and learning the practical realities of every bath, every furnace, every dispatch deadline.
When we started S. N. Enterprise, the idea was simple: bring all that experience under one roof, stock the right products locally, and serve Gujarat's heat treatment industry the way it actually needs to be served — quickly, knowledgeably, and with proper documentation.
What We Do
We supply industrial heat treatment chemicals to forging units, foundries, bearing manufacturers, fastener makers, tool rooms and commercial heat treaters. Our role in the supply chain is straightforward:
Salts and chemicals directly from established Indian manufacturers with proven performance histories.
Locally in Rajkot — office in Gandhigram, warehouse in Shapar — so customers don't wait days for replenishment.
Same day across Saurashtra. Next day across Gujarat. Quotations within 24 hours for in-stock items.
Product selection, bath troubleshooting, application guidance. 37+ years of experience on the line.
Our Products
We supply a complete range of heat treatment salts, surface treatment chemicals, and shop-floor consumables — formulated for bearings, blades, HSS tools, and professional heat treaters alike.
Custom salt blends for carburizing, neutral hardening, tempering and quenching — matched to your process and component type.
Chemicals for hot and cold blackening of steel and iron components — uniform finish, improved corrosion resistance.
Passivation solutions for stainless steel — removes free iron, builds the passive oxide layer, and extends part life.
Rust removers and descalers for pre-treatment cleaning — restores bare metal before heat treatment or coating.
Industrial degreasers to strip oils, coolants and machining residues before heat treatment — prevents bath contamination.
Protective coatings and stop-off compounds applied before treatment to control case depth or shield specific areas.
Formulation Advantage
The right salt blend does more than heat — it protects your bath, your components, and your operating costs.
Eliminates sticking on component surfaces — parts come out clean and ready for the next stage without manual intervention.
Low sludge build-up means fewer bath cleanouts, longer salt life, and less downtime on your furnace line.
Reduced evaporation keeps bath chemistry stable through the shift — fewer top-ups, more predictable results.
Efficient formulations mean you use less salt per cycle, directly lowering your per-batch operating cost.
Lower fume generation improves shop-floor air quality and reduces ventilation load at your furnace.
Components retain their full surface carbon — critical for hardness consistency across bearing, blade, and HSS tool grades.
Our Model
Heat treatment plants do not need another factory. They need a reliable partner who solves real problems.
Need 25 kg of one salt and 50 kg of another? We send both on one delivery — one invoice.
Most manufacturers prefer pallet-sized orders. We let you order what your bath actually consumes.
One supplier, one relationship, one set of paperwork. No vendor juggling.
A team based in Rajkot, in the same time zone and same dialect as your purchase department.
Our Promise
Every product sourced directly from its original manufacturer. No re-labelling, no substitutions.
COA, MSDS and TDS supplied with every consignment, no exceptions.
Quotations within 24 hours. Dispatch within 48 hours for in-stock items.
Customer lists, pricing and order details are kept strictly confidential.

Process Knowledge
We guide clients through salt selection, bath setup, and day-to-day operation across every process we supply for. Below is one example from our Carburizing range.
| Component | Running Bath | Initial Fill |
|---|---|---|
| Activator (Barium Base) | 65% | 50% |
| Sodium Cyanide (NaCN) | 35 – 45% | 50% |
Add Activator directly to the pot and raise temperature to approximately 800 °C, then add Sodium Cyanide. Once working temperature is reached, load components into the bath.
Combine Activator and Sodium Cyanide in the correct ratio directly in the pot. Heat to working temperature, then load components once the bath is fully stable.
In regular running conditions, top up Activator and Sodium Cyanide in a 2 : 1 ratio (Activator : NaCN). Actual consumption varies with workload.
We provide similar process guidance for all products we supply — tempering, neutral hardening, blackening, passivation, and more.
