Heat Treatment Salts
Neutral, hardening and tempering salts covering the full heat treatment cycle — 660°C pre-heating through to 1300°C hardening and back down to 150°C martempering.
SN HSS-972 Hardening Salt
Scale-free hardening of HSS and hot-work tool steels at very high temperatures. Prevents decarburisation and surface oxidation at up to 1300°C.
SN-830 Neutral Salt
Barium chloride based neutral hardening salt for die steels and high-alloy steels. Operating range 800°C to 1100°C with uniform bath density.
SN-660 Neutral Salt
For austenitising and pre-heating of carbon and low-alloy steels. Clean, scale-free, decarburisation-free surface every time.
Economizer
White granular surface cover for molten salt baths. Suppresses fuming, reduces heat loss and limits salt evaporation — lowering energy cost per shift.
Regenerator
Anti-decarburization additive for neutral salt baths. Restores bath neutrality and protects surface carbon integrity across 660°C to 950°C.
SN-220 Tempering Salt
Medium-temperature martempering, austempering and secondary hardening of HSS. Excellent for spring steels, die steels and auto components.
SN-140 Tempering Salt
Low-temperature martempering of bearing steels and thin-section precision parts. Uniform heat transfer for distortion-free results.
Activator
Barium-base carburising salt for achieving 1 mm case depth in 5 hours. Used in a 65% Activator / 35–45% NaCN bath for liquid carburising of mild steel.
Nitriding Salt
Cyanate-base salt bath for liquid nitrocarburising at 560°C–570°C. Diffuses nitrogen and carbon into steel surfaces — improving wear resistance, anti-seizure and scuffing resistance with minimal distortion.
